The nomination process is the first portion of the road to candidacy in Student Government elections. One must seek the approval of their peers to run for a student leadership position.
This will be your first interface with your possible constituents and an ability to make connections and network, as well as meet a great deal of new people.
In order to complete the nominating process, the Nomination Petition will need to be filled out with the printed name, signature, AU ID Number and Class/School of the people you solicit to sign it. The signatures must be those from the constituency you’re seeking to represent.
Senate and Class/School Council Election signature requirement is twenty five (25) signatures.
Executive Elections signature requirement is seventy-five (75) signatures.
