The final step in getting certified as a candidate is the Nominating Convention. At this time, all potential candidates wanting to be certified and their name placed on the ballot must bring their candidacy materials to the Board of Elections for verification and final approval.
Also, this is the time at which the Board of Elections begins to accept submissions for campaign material approval. All materials to be displayed in the course of campaigning must be approved by the Board of Elections prior to its distribution.
All materials will need to be sent to boechair@ausg.org in order to be approved and one should expect a response within twenty-four (24) hours on the status of your materials.
